Myth of rock essay
I know the spirit of the book was not about the science, but I cannot help What I realized reading these essays over again was that despite of being labelled as the proponent of absurd, it is actually living that he so fervently speaks about; Not just living but living passionately and fully. He does not have hope, but "there is no fate that cannot be surmounted by scorn. The absurd man says yes and his effort will henceforth be unceasing. I think this will change, broade I only read "The Rebel. The workman of today works every day in his life at the same tasks, and this fate is no less absurd. He had died and so belonged in the underworld. But simultaneously he situates himself in relation to time. Even with the knowledge of the extent of his condition, Sisyphus still found joy. Although Camus is often categorized as an existential philosopher but he himself never approved of that. There is no sun without shadow, and it is essential to know the night. Thus, convinced of the wholly human origin of all that is human, a blind man eager to see who knows that the night has no end, he is still on the go.
All of these, he claims, commit "philosophical suicide" by reaching conclusions that contradict the original absurd position, either by abandoning reason and turning to God, as in the case of Kierkegaard and Shestov, or by elevating reason and ultimately arriving at ubiquitous Platonic forms and an abstract god, as in the case of Husserl.
After finally capturing Sisyphus, the gods decided that his punishment would last for all eternity.

But if you find it meaningful and helpful and would like to contribute whatever easily affordable amount you feel it is worth, please do do. The achievement is an achievement in name only.
Sisyphus however is not pursuing excellence.

The attribute of my divinity is independence. After all, he is condemned to pushing a rock to the top of a mountain for eternity. Again I fancy Sisyphus returning toward his rock, and th sorrow was in the beginning.
